Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh button mushrooms
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ cup milk
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the mushrooms
  1. Wash the mushrooms gently and pat them completely dry. This helps the coating stick well during frying.

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until combined.

Step 3: Coat the mushrooms
  1. Dip each mushroom into milk first. Then roll it in the flour mixture until fully coated.

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the mushrooms in small batches for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and crispy.

  1. Remove the mushrooms using a slotted spoon. Place them on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve hot.
