Step 1: Melt the Butter
- Place a small saucepan over low heat. Add the butter and let it melt slowly. Do not rush this step. Low heat keeps the butter smooth.

Step 2: Add Garlic and Lemon
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter. Stir for 30 seconds. Pour in lemon juice and add lemon zest. Mix gently so the flavors blend well.

Step 3: Season the Sauce
- Add salt and black pepper. Whisk everything together. Let the sauce simmer for one minute. Turn off the heat.

Step 4: Finish and Serve
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Give it one final stir. Your lemon butter sauce is ready to serve warm.

Notes
I love serving this lemon butter sauce over grilled steak, salmon, or shrimp. You can drizzle it on steamed broccoli or asparagus too.
