Step 1: Prepare the salmon
- I start by patting the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasoning stick better and gives a nice grilled finish.

Step 2: Season the fish
- I brush olive oil on both sides. Then I sprinkle salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried parsley evenly. You can already smell the flavor building.

Step 3: Heat the grill
- I heat my grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, I lightly grease it so the salmon does not stick.

Step 4: Grill the salmon
- I place the salmon skin-side down and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Then I flip and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until flaky.

Step 5: Add butter and garlic
- In the last minute, I add butter and minced garlic on top. I let it melt and baste the salmon for a rich flavor.

Step 6: Finish with lemon
- I turn off the heat and drizzle fresh lemon juice. This step makes the salmon taste bright and fresh, just like the restaurant.

Notes
I love serving this grilled salmon with steamed broccoli or garlic mashed potatoes. You can also pair it with a fresh side salad or seasoned rice.
