Step 1: Activate the yeast
- I mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. I let it rest for five minutes. You will see bubbles forming. That means the yeast is ready.

Step 2: Prepare the dough
- I add melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture. I stir gently. Then I slowly add flour and salt. You will get a soft, sticky dough.

Step 3: Knead and rise
- I knead the dough for eight minutes until smooth. I cover it with a towel. I let it rise for one hour. You will notice it doubles in size.

Step 4: Shape the rolls
- I divide the dough into equal pieces. I roll them into balls. I place them on a lined baking tray. You should leave space between each roll.

Step 5: Bake the rolls
- I bake the rolls at 375°F for fifteen minutes. You will see a light golden top. I brush them with butter while warm.

Notes
I love serving these rolls warm with honey butter or plain butter. You can pair them with grilled chicken, steak, soups, or salads.
