  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup refried beans
  • 3 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup taco sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the meat mixture
  1. Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix in refried beans and stir well until combined.

  1. Spoon a small amount of the beef-bean mixture onto one half of each tortilla. Add half a slice of American cheese on top.

Step 3: Fold and seal
  1. Gently press the tortillas to seal the edges after folding them in half. Be careful not to overfill to avoid spilling while frying.

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Fry each taco for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
