Method
Step 1: Combine Coffee and Water
- In a large jar or French press, I mix the coarsely ground coffee with cold water. I make sure to stir it gently to combine.
Step 2: Let It Brew
- Now, I cover the jar and let it sit at room temperature (or in the fridge) for at least 12 to 18 hours. This slow brew gives that rich, bold flavor we love.
Step 3: Strain the Brew
- After brewing, I strain the coffee using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean jar or pitcher. This removes all the grounds and leaves behind a smooth drink.
Step 4: Serve Over Ice
- I fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cold brew concentrate over it. You can enjoy it as is or add a sweetener, milk, or cream if you like a little extra flavor.
Notes
I store Cold Brew Black Caf Recipe in a sealed jar or bottle in the refrigerator. It stays fresh for up to 1 week. I always shake it before serving, especially if I’ve added any flavorings.
