Step 1: Prepare the filling
- Melt butter in a skillet, add onions and garlic, then sauté. Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in broth and cream. Cook until thickened.
Step 2: Add chicken and vegetables
- Mix in shredded chicken, vegetables, salt, and pepper. After giving it a good stir, simmer for five minutes. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
Step 3: Prepare biscuit topping
- As directed on the container, prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix in a bowl. Add shredded cheddar cheese for extra flavor.
Step 4: Assemble and bake
- Top the chicken mixture with spoonfuls of biscuit dough. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
Step 5: Serve
- Before serving warm, take it out of the oven, sprinkle it with parsley, and allow it to cool somewhat.
