  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese optional

Step 1: Prepare the bread
  1. Cut the bread into even bite-sized cubes. I always use day-old bread because it crisps better and holds flavor nicely.

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter with olive oil over low heat. Stir gently so it stays smooth and does not brown.
