Step 1: Prepare the bread
- Cut the bread into even bite-sized cubes. I always use day-old bread because it crisps better and holds flavor nicely.

Step 2: Melt the butter
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter with olive oil over low heat. Stir gently so it stays smooth and does not brown.

Step 3: Season the butter
- Add garlic powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper to the melted butter. Mix well so every spice blends evenly.

Step 4: Toss the bread
- Place bread cubes in a bowl. Pour the seasoned butter over them. Toss until every cube is well coated.

Step 5: Bake until crispy
- Spread the cubes on a baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Toss halfway. Remove when golden and crisp.

Notes
I love serving these croutons over fresh Caesar salads or garden salads. You can sprinkle them on tomato soup or chicken soup for crunch.
