Step 1: Prepare the bacon
- Soak the wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes. This prevents burning. Cut each bacon slice in half for easier skewering.

Step 2: Skewer the bacon
- Thread two bacon halves onto each skewer. Weave them gently so they stay secure and cook evenly.

Step 3: Season the bacon
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over both sides of the bacon.

Step 4: Bake to perfection
- Place skewers on a wire rack over a baking tray. Bake at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes. Flip once halfway for even crispiness.

Step 5: Serve hot
- Remove from the oven and rest for 2 minutes. Serve immediately while crispy and hot.

Notes
I love serving this bacon on a stick with honey mustard or spicy ranch dip. You can pair it with sliders, loaded fries, or a cold mocktail.
